Tool Introduction:

The RDH packer is mainly used for well completion with dry electric submersible pumps. This packer is a dual tube series, single stroke, hydraulic setting recyclable packer.

Structural features:

① The top is connected to the cable seal penetrator through threads;

② The remaining through holes can be connected to vent valves, chemical injection pipelines, hydraulic control pipelines, and downhole monitoring systems;

③ The sealing system composed of dual sealing rubber cylinders is suitable for irregular sleeves and low-pressure conditions;

④ The hydraulic anchor with pressure activation on the upper part can enable the packer to withstand pressure differentials from underground;

⑤ The mechanical slip with pressure start at the lower part enables the packer to withstand the pressure difference from the well;

⑥ The sealing pressure and unsealing force can be adjusted by shearing the pin.

Operation:

The sealing locking mechanism of the packer adopts an inner slip with spring load. The lower mechanical external slip can keep the packer in a seated state and withstand downward forces, while the hydraulic anchor can withstand upward forces on the packer. The sealing rubber cylinder can ensure the intact sealing of the packer under high or low pressure and irregular casing. By pulling the oil pipe upwards, the packer can be unsealed and retrieved.
