Tool Introduction:

Used for the detachment of wellbore tubing, in conjunction with hydraulic packers, it can achieve dual water plugging, horizontal well water plugging, and other operations. It can also be used for detachment of tubing in emergency situations.

Operation:

During underground operations, ball pressure is used to cut the pin and push the core shaft downwards under the action of hydraulic pressure. The core shaft descends and releases the pawl of the upper joint, causing the pawl stuck in the annular groove of the lower joint to contract and separate the upper joint from the lower joint to achieve the release of the pipe column. After a certain stroke of descent, the core shaft is blocked by the steps of the upper joint, and the four circulation holes of the upper joint are exposed. Lifting the pipe column can remove the upper joint, core shaft, and steel ball together, leaving only the joint underground.
